Saying goodbye to an old friend
2020 - 2025 R.I.P.
We had good times and bad times together.
I
probably
spent
twice
the
initial
price
on
improvements.
And
haf
of
the
prints
were to improve the printer itself. Crazy times …
Finally,
it
became
mechanically
unstable
and
it
took
me
a
lot
of
effort
to
keep
it
operational. I gave it the last rites and that‘s is it.
I was not aware how far technology had developed.

1st try to print optics from a transparent resin. Not so bad. (Aug 2025)
(After drying, the surfaces become opaque and need some attention. I‘ll keep you

A microscope stand. Yes, at a weak moment in the past I ordered a cheap USB
microscope. The stand that came with it was completely impractical, and the best
one to print I found in the internet was a little shaky (the small guy on the right),
so I decided to improve the mechanical design :
